Water Distribution Operations Manager

Join Team Salisbury as a Water Distribution Operations Manager. Salisbury-Rowan Utilities is seeking motivated candidates who will be responsible for all aspects of managing the daily operations of the water distribution system, including mains, service connections, metering, backflow, valves and hydrants. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of a municipal water distribution system.

Minimum Requirements:
• Seven (7) years of supervisory experience in water utilities
• Possession of an A-Distribution certification and Backflow & Cross-Connections Control certifications or the ability to obtain within 12 months
• Possession of North Carolina driver’s license
• Preference for graduates from an accredited college or university with a degree in a related field.

Hiring Range: $66,159.79 - $94,608.50 (Depending on Experience)
$2,000 sign-on bonus to be paid as a lump sum aftersuccessful completion of probationary period.
