Utility Tech

Performs a variety of duties for the efficient operation of the Districtss water system. Reads, installs, and repairs water meters, water meter boxes and service lines. Performs a variety of building maintenance tasks. Performs landscaping and grounds keeping duties around assigned buildings and grounds; including mowing, and weedeating.  Performs carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical repair work to the Districts facilities. Operates and maintains all equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks such as tractors, hand tools and mowing machines. Responds to emergency calls for customer and water system repairs. Will be subject to on-call and some weekend work.
