Join Team Salisbury as a Wastewater Treatment Manager. Salisbury-Rowan Utilities is seeking motivated candidates who will plan and oversee the operations, maintenance and compliance of wastewater treatment plants, lift stations and a bio-solids/land application program.
Essential duties include: Review and approve state monitoring and compliance reports; work with engineers, contractors, regulators, and others to maintain necessary capacity, efficiency and compliance; participate in planning for current and future capacity needs as well as plant and systems modifications; develop and recommend operating and capital budget needs; approve and monitor expenditures; develop, implement and review division goals and objectives; and ensure that personnel have the resources needed to perform work efficiently and safely.

Minimum Requirements:
•Graduation from high school and considerable experience in operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities or related field and considerable supervisory experience; prefer degree in Environmental Science or Public Administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Possession of or ability to obtain Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, Land Application Residual Operator, and Grade IV Collections Operator certifications within the timeframe determined by the City.
•Possession of North Carolina driver’s license
