Salisbury-Rowan Utilities is seeking motivated candidates to serve as project manager for water distribution & wastewater collection line construction projects. The project manager will supervise construction inspectors to ensure compliance with City codes, NCDEQ regulations and Uniform Construction Standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• assisting with planning & design of projects.
• preparing bids and specifications.
• coordinating work and project permitting with outside agencies including NCDEQ and NCDOT.
• overseeing contractor and staff performance.
• managing the project budget, scheduling, and pay requests.

Minimum Requirements:
• Possession of North Carolina driver’s license.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, project management or related field and considerable experience in water and sanitary sewer maintenance and construction; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registration as an Engineering Intern (EI) preferred.

Hiring Range: $67,483.08 - $107,972.93 (Depending on Experience)
$2,000 sign-on bonus to be paid as a lump sum after successful completion of probationary period.
