Water Distribution ORC

We are seeking a dedicated Water Distribution Operator to join our team and ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of clean water to our community. This role is vital in maintaining public health and supporting essential infrastructure.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair water distribution systems, including mains, valves, hydrants, and meters

• Monitor system performance and respond to service calls, leaks, and emergencies

• Perform routine inspections, flushing, and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, system data, and reports

• Collaborate with other utility staff and contractors to support projects and system improvements

🎓 Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in water systems preferred

• Valid driver’s license 

• State-issued Water Distribution Operator certification 

• Knowledge of water distribution systems, safety practices, and regulatory requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills
