The Town of Boonville seeks qualified candidates for the position of
Public Works Technician.
General Statement of Duties
Applicants must be physically able to lift heavy objects in an outside and inside environment. Night and weekend work may be required.
Education and Experience
Graduation from high school or GED and some experience in semi-skilled maintenance, equipment operation or construction work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
Distinguishing Features of the Class
Work will include a variety of equipment, grounds and facility maintenance and substantial record keeping of work activities. Salary will depend on qualifications. All applicants are subject to substance abuse screening.
