Project Leader and Water Treatment Plant ORC

Veolia North American is seeking an individual to be the project leader for the operation of the Town of Southern Pines water treatment plant.  The individual will be responsible for ensuring the daily operation of the water treatment plant meets state and federal standards for safe drinking water, supervising the operational team, managing contract obligations and client relations, developing and implementing creative, practical solutions to overcome project-related issues and drive successful outcomes, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timely delivery within budget assignments.

Education/Experience/Background: 

• A degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is strongly preferred but not required.
• 5 years experience in water treatment plant operation
• NC A-surface water certification
• 6 years of leadership experience, 4 of which leading project teams, with a strong emphasis on effective team collaboration and project delivery.
