Water Meter Technician

Under general supervision of the Water Superintendent, a Water Meter Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, reading and testing of all water meters used to record water consumption in residential, commercial and industrial areas; update meter accurace history and inventory records; maintain meter and backflow parts inventory; respond to inquiries from citizens, business owners, property managers, home owner associations and contrators regarding meter accuracy; respond to inquiries from backflow customers; and issue and read meters.
